PRIORITIES

Public Safety

Public safety is a top priority. It is crucial to take the necessary measures to guarantee the well-being of our residents. Specifically the expansion of our Fire/EMS Department and creating and maintaining “Safe Streets and Trails” to ensure that pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists can travel safely and confidently.

Small Community Businesses

Small community businesses, not just franchises or corporations, are essential for Waverly’s growth. Attracting and supporting businesses to stimulate local economic growth creates job opportunities for residents and generates sales tax for Waverly.

Smart Growth Planning

Developing strategies for the city’s growth to ensure sustainable development and maintain the unique character of Waverly.
